Spend The Summer Learning With Us
Option 1: Credit Recovery Courses for High School Students
Our credit recovery courses allow students to retake a high school class that was not completed successfully when taken the first time. These courses are designed to be completed within the summer study period—8 weeks—but may be finished in even less time. We offer more than 40 credit recovery courses in subjects such as English language arts, math, science, social studies, and more.
Credit recovery courses focus on the mastery of essential skills and concepts. These self-paced courses use pre-tests so students spend more time on what they need to learn and less time on the skills they’ve already mastered. To recover high school credit, students must pass each of the unit tests and the course final exam.
Note: Credit recovery courses are not to be used for original credit.
Option 2: Semester-Length Courses for K-12 Students
Choose from more than 400 courses to get ahead on learning during the summer. These courses are designed to be completed over a full 18-week semester, but can be taken during the summer, too.
Students need to accelerate their studies, though, for these courses to be completed by the end of summer. If a slower pace is preferred, students can start a course at any time during the summer and finish it in the fall—as long as the semester-length course is completed within 18 weeks.
Note: Two semester-length courses is equivalent to a full school year.
